- Bait and Switch Tactics: Failure to fulfill a promised condition, instead replacing it with something different. For example: A home buyer agreed to a 7% interest rate with no closing costs. At the time of closing, the buyer is told that offer is no longer available, and is instead provided 9% interest with $20,000 closing costs.
- Stated Income Loans: In order to qualify you for a loan, a broker, lender, or loan agent falsely inflates your income. The result is a loan that you should not have qualified for and mortgage payments that you cannot afford.
Foreclosure Solutions

If the problem is the result of an error or misconduct made by a lender, broker, loan officer, or other involved party, we will consider exercising Federal Truth in Lending laws and other consumer protection laws.
